Hi There!

We’re Sabah and Elle, and welcome to the Irish Bird Blog! We began birdwatching together in 2020 and as time went on we realized how much we loved to see and talk about birds, so we decided we’d share some of the joys of nature that we’ve found with you.

We aim to post on our blog every month. Each post highlights a different bird found in Ireland, their ties to the country, and our stories of trying to find and photograph them! All photos (unless otherwise stated) and most of the research is courtesy of Elle, and Sabah writes each article.
